Eclipse Office of the Future

Saw this on SCiFi Tech and thought wow! "The Eclipse Office Partitioning System is pretty much the ultimate cubicle. More than just a desk and chair, the bubble-like shade that encloses the Eclipse is actually packed with all sorts of high tech goodies. The shade itself can be projected onto and surround the worker with soothing images — a pleasant meadow, rippling waves, a view of Coruscant at night. It also functions in a way conducive to productivity, acting as a screen for teleconferencing. The bars supporting the shade also have uses, with embedded lights, video cameras and speakers.

The Eclispe Office Partitioning System is a concept by Marcus Ward Curran."

This video made me smile. It's an attempt to make English subtitles for an Indian music video. Please note that it's not a direct translation. Class vid!

Shigeki Hayashi

Bizarre mecha-babies and S&M fetish rubber-clad women submerged into the floor. The ceramic works of Shigeki Hayashi are scary and beautiful and always have an extremely deep concept behind it. Check the rest of his site out to see how the works have developed.

See more of Shigeki's work HERE.
Thanks to Ektopia for the heads up!

Hot Collab Kicks

I am very pleased with ST/ART's latest collab project with Reebok. Daubed with the now trademark HKAMMO design, the kicks featured loads of subtle detailing including clear soles, stencil lace-bridge, black on black embroidery and a variety of special material finishes. Well done to Jay for sorting these ones out!

UNKL Brand has partnered with Adio Footwear for a limited release of 1,000 pairs of UNKL-designed Adio Limited Projects Drayton SL shoes - which is packaged with an Adio + UNKL UniPo figure, rendered in a classy black base with gold design highlights, to match the swirls of the Adio-shoe.

Doktor A's "Spit and Polish"

I originally wrote about Doktor A. back in July (read HERE). He currently has a solo show entitled, "Spit and Polish" at Cardboard Spaceship in Santa Cruz. Once again, his toy customs are phenomenal and he continues to be in the Top 3 of toy-custom artists out there.

You can see more amazing pics of the show HERE.

Awesome exclusive remix of gimme more synced with the old school Britney. I miss this side of her, and that's why i make these videos. I'm crossing my fingers that the old Britney will come back, but i'm losing hope at the same time.

World Strongman Cup 2007

Strongman refers to one who competes in strength athletics - a more modern eclectic strength competition in which competitors lift rocks, tote refrigerators, pull trains, walk while towing an eighteen wheel truck behind them, etc. The most famous competition of this type is World's Strongest Man and the " World's Strongest Man Super Series", however North American Strongman, Inc. (NAS) holds amateur and other meets throughout the United States. In recent years, interest in the sport at the grassroots level has skyrocketed, leading to the spontaneous formation of local clubs, loosely affiliated with provincial/state and national associations.

Many sports-specific training facilities have begun to incorporate movements associated with strongman competitions into their general training schemes, albeit with lighter weights used; e.g. tire flips, sled drags, object loading or carrying, log pressing, farmer's walks and so on.
