Ed Alleyne-Johnson Busking Electric Violin in Chester UK - May 2006 Fantastic - This is perhaps the best street performance I have ever witnessed. Reminiscent of Jean Luc Ponte's visceral fusion sound. This is in the city of Chester near Wales. Chester has perhaps the only double decker shopping plaza streets, with a second level up off the street within the buildings, balconies running all the way down the streets. jablesj comments - "They were made by the victorians so that rich people would not get wet while out in the rain." The sound is unaltered from the original and was emancipated at great volume in this old town. Ed uses the looper and pedals to great effect. There are no overdubs. Incredible he commanded this fantastic show all by himself, I stood enraptured with all the hair on my body standing on end, grin stretched wide. You can see where he looked up to see my ebullient smile just before he grins and kicks in the distortion. This has been a tremendous inspiration for me. I had never heard him or heard of him before this performance. Ed is awesome! I got some albums of his from the web since hearing this. I hope I can see him again one day.
This dog can only take so much poking. He's resting comfortably on his owner's lap but this cat is relentless. Even when the dog gives the cat an evil stare, the cat has to take one more swipe - and that's the straw the broke the camel's back.
Once upon a time, a world renowned visuals crew known as ESP sold their name to a little known guitar company caled ESP. Since then, they have admired each other's work in the custom merchandise field. Today is the day that I will big up their most recent custom; the ESP Shinigami guitar. (Shinigami in Japanese, means Demon) This scary hellspawn retails for above $20,000!! Face-melting riffs a plenty with this psycho looking guitar; a Death-Metal wet dream.
This multi-pod aquarium is known as the Silverfish and is designed by Octopus Studios. I's touted as being an arcology, which is a huge habitat designed to deal with high population densities of aquatic life. The tank holds 60 gallons and is completely self contained, coming with everything necessary to keep tropical freshwater fish looking stylish, healthy and happy. Each one is custom made and will cost you $3400 and the only downer, in my opinion, is that it must be a real bitch to clean!
NVC Crew kill it once again with their sick rendition of rapper MF Doom using a Money Grip Toy. It was made for the Get A Grip Show and features custom made hands, a mic and a sample machine!
This is the original Money Grip shape toy, this one designed by Kano for those who aren't familiar with the platform toy.
