Chronotopic Anamorphosis

Difficult phrase for a relatively simple video effect. However, this effect is done on real-time by fragmenting the video into horizontal lines and then combining lines from different frames in the display. The effect is being worked on by Brazilian researcher Arlindo Machado and looks set to be, in my opinion, a definite preset effect on the new iMovie/Video editing softwares. Webcam trippiness here we come!

Michael Lau X China BMX Team

That's right. The best extreme sport has just got cooler. BMX is one of the new disciplines of the Beijing Olympics this year and the China team have got design legend, Michael Lau to give them the image edge above the other teams.


The box is representative of a cube of mud taken from the race track which is a really nice touch and makes for some original packaging.
