Aurel Schmidt

I'm always looking for new and inspiring art and this artist is no exception. Aurel Schmidt is a young Canadian artist who enjoys making portraits of people that don't exist. Their faces made up of trash and everyday objects (cigarettes, dead animals, spiderwebs, pebbles etc.) all subtedly joined together to create highly detailed paintings. The details she adds to her pieces are incredible and really complex which causes the viewer to spend ages looking at each specific part. Personally, I'm loving it!
